Saturday night saw Zach Leonhardi travel to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned King of the Mountain Fall Classic. In a field of 26 cars, Leonhardi recorded the 11th fastest time in his group before placing 4th in his heat. With $7,500 on the line in the feature, Zach improved eight spots in the 50-lapper reeling in a 10th place finish.

Zach Leonhardi followed the Southern All Star Series to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the $4,000 top prize. After experiencing unknown mechanical issues in hot laps, Leonhardi ran one lap of his B-Main just to earn a provisional into the main event. Unsure of the severity of the problems, Zach decided to start-and-park in the 40-lap feature.

On Saturday night Zach Leonhardi returned with the Southern All Star Series for the Labor Day weekend doubleheader at Southern Raceway (Milton, Florida). After timing in fourth fastest in his qualifying group, Zach gained two positions in the 30-lapper to place 6th.

Returning on Sunday afternoon for the $6,000 top prize, Leonhardi recorded the fastest lap in lap in his time trial group which positioned him on the pole for the finale. Losing three spots in the 50-lap finale, Zach notched a 4th place finish behind Joseph Joiner, Billy Franklin, and Casey Roberts with Austin Arnold coming in 5th.
