Zach Leonhardi followed the Southern All Stars Series to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Michael Head Jr. Memorial. Laying down the second fastest lap in qualifying behind Ashton Winger, Zach earned the 2nd-starting position for the $5,454-to-win A-Main. After battling for a podium spot throughout the 54-lapper, Leonhardi slipped back to a 5th place finish behind Ashton Winger, Michael Page, Dalton Cook, and David Breazeale.

Saturday night found Zach Leonhardi in action at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) for the Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals sanctioned contest. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, Leonhardi locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. Zach Leonhardi traveled to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Saturday evening powering his Engine Distributors Inc. No. 24 Super Late Model entry for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Governor’s Cup. In a stout field of 39 cars, Leonhardi jumped up two spots in his heat scoring a 2nd place finish. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 8th, Zach climbed into the Top 5 by lap 20 and snuck through a multi-car tangle late in the race to place 4th behind Michael Page, Aaron Ridley, and Dallas Cooper with Austin Smith coming in 5th.

On Saturday night Zach Leonhardi visited Thunderhill Raceway Park (Summertown, Tennessee) for Southern All Star Series sanctioned King of the Hill 40. Drawing 22 cars for the $4,000 top prize, Leonhardi registered the second fastest time in his qualifying group and was slated to start the feature in 4th but the team diagnosed engine issues before the start of the main event. Hopping behind the wheel of Billy Franklin’s secondary ride, Zach completed a few laps before pulling off to place 22nd.
